Mr. Y.O. (69yo) learned about the Jorei-Healing when he was in elementary school. His aunt’s house was a branch, so he sometimes went to the HQ and branches. When he was 20yo, he passed a university examination, and he left his hometown. To do the Jorei-Healing anywhere, he joined member in 1951, when he was 21yo. He could spend his university life without any troubles, but when he tried to get up in the morning around the middle of February in 1980, just before graduating from university, he could not move his body suddenly. He called his friend and asked him to turn over in bed. He and then fell asleep. When he woke up, he could move his body normally. Then nothing happened for a month. It was very strange, and he thought it was a nightmare. But this symptom happened again in April. Before he started working in Tokyo, he decided to go to the hospital to check up his body. But there was no abnormality, and he was told that it was an unexplained disease. Suddenly, the day what he was worried about came. On the first day of the working in the company, he could not stand up during welcome ceremony. His legs couldn’t move, so someone helped him to carry him back to the dormitory. He recovered in about an hour, but the next morning he couldn’t move his whole body and couldn’t do anything, so he was hospitalized. First, he had an examination at surgical department, but there was no abnormality. Next, he was transferred to an internal medicine department, and told him a slight abnormality in the blood. Examination must be carried out during symptoms. But during he was in the hospital, the symptom did not occur. So, doctor put insulin to him and examined it. Then, he was diagnosed with “hyperthyroidism cyclic quadriplegia”. This was due to the hyperfunction of the thyroid gland, which led to a decrease in potassium in the blood and weakness, resulting in periodic paralysis. He found out the cause, but his general paralysis started occurring frequently and his palpitations were more intense than before. He was prescribed medication. The doctor told him to continue to come to the hospital after discharged. Because it has very strong side effects and in rare cases is life-threatening. The possibility of being cured by medicine is about 30%, so if it is not cured, he may have a surgery. He worried if he could get better. 1.5 month after discharged from the hospital, his legs were again paralyzed, and his whole body continued to be paralyzed for a long time, so he did not know what will happen even if he continue to rely on medicine. He was afraid the paralysis will continue as it is… he was terrified. At that time, his mother called him that she had been hospitalized. She told him to come back to his parent’s house soon. Then he decided to resign his job and went back. After that he started to visit to the Jorei-Healing branch every day. For the first 2 months, he was frequently paralyzed, but little by little he got better and his appetite returned. Around 3rd month, the interval between paralysis occurrence became longer, and he could move his body little by little. When he was in a good mood, he went out by bicycle and distributed newspapers of Jorei-Healing. Then, after 4th month, his physical condition improved so much and he almost didn’t feel paralyzed. He could clearly see how he was slowly but surely getting better and more energetic, as if he were really peeling off little by little. By the time he was 26yo, his weight was 55 kg and had a fit body, and he didn’t feel tired anymore. When he became 27yo, he worked for part time job for 2 months, but he didn’t get paralyzed or affect his body, and nothing bad happened. In this way, he became more confident in himself, and the paralysis that often occurred after eating no longer occurred, and his body condition became healthier as before. Then, in the following year, there was no paralysis at all through a year. Thanks to the Jorei-Healing, He became completely better in two years. He cannot imagine what would have happened if he did not receive the Jorei-Healing. He is 69yo now, and 41 years have passed. During this period, paralysis has not occurred. In addition, various other illnesses have been cured by the Jorei-Healing. He would like to spend his days of gratitude every day and continue to convey the Jorei-Healing to many people as possible.
